CLOC Announces 2026 Council Appointments, Advancing Innovation in Legal Ops Education, Inclusion, and Shaping CLOC’s Voice
SAN JOSE, CA — January 28, 2026 — CLOC (Corporate Legal Operations Consortium), the leading member-based association for the global legal operations community, is proud to announce the new 2026 members of its three leadership councils: the Education Advisory Council, the Inclusion & Social Impact Council, and the Voice & Brand Council.
These appointments represent new members joining continuing council leaders, ensuring continuity and momentum across each group. Council service reflects a selective, two-year volunteer leadership commitment, with members serving as strategic advisors alongside CLOC staff and board leadership.

Following CLOC’s recent board expansion, which broadened board representation across the legal operations ecosystem, the 2026 council appointments further reinforce CLOC’s commitment to practitioner-led leadership. Each council operates with a distinct charter, supporting CLOC’s mission through focused work in education, inclusion and social impact, and voice and brand stewardship.
Education Advisory Council (EAC)
The EAC drives CLOC’s learning strategy, ensuring the profession stays ahead of industry shifts through the CLOC Academy and peer-led insights. Its focus is on developing the next generation of leaders through structured, practitioner-focused education. The council works in close partnership with Nicole Zafian, CLOC Vice President of Learning & Engagement.
“Strong legal operations leadership depends on practical, scalable learning built by people doing the work,” said Adam Becker, CLOC Board Member and board lead for the EAC, and Director of Legal Operations at Cockroach Labs. “As we enter 2026, the EAC is committed to shaping a learning strategy that reflects real-world challenges and prepares professionals for what’s ahead.”

Inclusion & Social Impact Council
Reflecting a broadened mission to integrate equity into the enterprise level, the Inclusion & Social Impact Council fosters a professional environment rooted in access and opportunity. This work ensures diverse perspectives are driving the industry’s evolution. The council is supported by Jen Bryan, Director of Community Engagement at CLOC.
