CLOC Expands European Presence with New Programming and Strategic Partnerships

San Jose, CA – April 29, 2025 — As the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) marks its 10th anniversary, the organization is expanding its efforts to support the growing legal operations community across Europe through a slate of new regionally focused events and a partnership with RSGI and Lexpo.

Building on the success of its EMEA Summit in London, CLOC is introducing a more consistent cadence of local engagement. This includes regional dinners, half-day programs, and curated sessions within established legal industry events to better serve legal professionals across the region.

“The Europe Advisory Committee has played a vital role in shaping this next chapter,” said Áine Lyons, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Workday and CLOC Board Member and Europe Lead. “Their insight and support help us stay grounded in what legal ops professionals here actually need. I’m also delighted to be working with RSGI on this. Their perspective, creativity and experience across the legal industry add real depth to our plans.”

RSGI is a global intelligence and advisory agency for the legal industry, known for its work with general counsel, legal ops leaders and law firms. As the founder and content partner behind the FT Innovative Lawyers program, which is now in its 20th year, the team brings sharp insight into how in-house functions are evolving and what it takes to lead through change.

“RSGI has a track record of delivering ground-breaking events for the Financial Times and other blue chip clients. Legal ops teams are under pressure to deliver and we’re focused on making every session count. Whether it’s a panel, a roundtable or a practical tool, the goal is to offer something that helps legal professionals respond faster and think sharper,” said Tom Saunders, RSGI’s Communities and Clients Director. “We’re delighted to partner with CLOC on a series of events that reflect the substance and sophistication of the legal work happening across Europe.”

The first event in the new lineup will be at Lexpo in Amsterdam on June 16–17, where CLOC will deliver four curated sessions and host a private networking reception. Lexpo, launched in 2016, is one of Europe’s leading legal innovation events. It is known for its focus on practical applications of legal tech, AI, and change management.

“Lexpo is built on collaboration and fresh thinking,” said Rob Ameerun, Lexpo founder. “CLOC’s involvement brings a valuable in-house legal ops perspective that enhances our programme.”

CLOC will also host regional dinners this year in London, Northern UK, Amsterdam, Zurich, Barcelona, and other cities, creating more opportunities for professionals in the region to connect, share insights and advance their work. Its EMEA Summit will return in early 2026, shifting from its previous October slot to better align with industry calendars.

First up for CLOC and its global audience is the CLOC Global Institute, taking place May 5–8 in Las Vegas. The event draws attendees from 25 countries and includes a special welcome and connection opportunity for those traveling from outside the United States.
