CLOC Announces Inaugural Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council Members

San Jose, CA – August 1, 2023: The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (“CLOC”), the leading organization dedicated to transforming the business and practice of law, has announced its new Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Council, which is comprised of 14 thought leaders drawn from across the legal ecosystem. The DEIB Council will help shape and drive CLOC’s strategy in implementing DEIB policies and procedures into not only CLOC’s daily operations, but to also offer knowledge, tools and resources to its members to ensure that the legal operations ecosystem is equitable and inclusive.

“With our DEIB Council, we set out to create a diverse team that represents the full legal ops ecosystem so that our industry as a whole is properly represented with a variety of perspectives and voices shaping the CLOC strategy,” said Shawn Sanford, Head of Membership and Community Engagement at CLOC. “We are honored to have these influential and innovative leaders to serve the legal ops community.”

As a first step, CLOC thanks its partner, PwC, who will provide the Council with unconscious and implicit bias training.
