CLOC Academy Launches as Registration Opens for the 2025 CLOC Global Institute

San Jose, CA, December 2, 2024 — CLOC (Corporate Legal Operations Consortium) has introduced the CLOC Academy, a new educational platform offering tiered learning opportunities for legal operations professionals by experience level. Centered on its Core 12 framework, the CLOC Academy offers a holistic understanding of each functional area through courses designed to build expertise and advance careers, with certificates provided to participants.

Building on the success of its Foundations of Legal Operations course, the CLOC Academy expands the curriculum to equip participants with essential and advanced skills through Levels 100 and 200, and leadership-level courses at Level 300 planned for future development.

• Level 100: Core 12 Foundations – A broad introduction to legal operations for newer professionals.
• Level 200: Core 12 in Practice – Intermediate courses offering deeper dives into specific Core 12 functions.
• Level 300: Core 12 Mastery – Currently under development, these advanced courses will focus on strategic leadership and expertise.

Each completed course will award a certificate and a digital badge, showcasing participants’ growth and learning and their commitment to professional development.

Today also marks the opening of registration for the CLOC Global Institute (CGI). Members and non-members alike can secure their spots early and take advantage of discounted rates and any remaining 2024 budget. CGI 2025 will take place May 5–8, 2025, at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and will feature an interactive program, a full line-up of expert speakers, and unmatched networking opportunities.

A total of 12 CLOC Academy courses are under development and planned to be rolled out in 2025, with Level 300 courses slated for future release.
