Page Reading Time: 2 minutesSan Jose, CA – October, 23, 2023: The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (“CLOC”), the leading organization dedicated to transforming the business and practice of law, has announced that the Brazilian association for legal operations professionals, Comunidade Legal Operations Brasil (“CLOB”), will be transitioning into the “CLOC Brasil Group,” effective January 2024.
As part of this transition, we are pleased to introduce the Regional Group Leaders for the CLOC Brasil Group: Gabriela Pereira, Guilherme Tocci, Paulo Silva, and Vanessa Fortunado Zaccaria. These leaders will be at the forefront of driving initiatives and promoting collaboration within the Brazilian legal operations community. Additionally, the other founding members of CLOB will provide valuable insights and serve on the CLOC Brasil Advisory Committee.
Integrating CLOB into the CLOC framework ensures that the Brazilian legal operations community can efficiently keep pace with both industry trends and global best practices, all while connecting with peers from various countries through CLOC’s extensive global network.
Mike Haven, President of CLOC, expressed his excitement for the integration: “We are thrilled to welcome this formidable group of legal operations professionals into the CLOC family. Strengthening CLOC’s presence in emerging markets like Brazil signifies our commitment to advancing the legal operations profession and supporting our members on a global scale.”
Paulo Silva, one of the founders of CLOB and its current President, commented, “The integration of CLOB into the CLOC network marks a significant step forward for legal professionals in Brazil. With the support of CLOC’s vast resources, we aim to further empower our community and connect with the broader global landscape.”
To ensure a seamless transition, CLOC and CLOB will closely collaborate over the upcoming months on the transition details. As CLOC further develops its global presence, the inclusion of the CLOC Brasil Group underscores the organization’s dedication to fostering international cooperation, particularly within Brazil’s dynamic legal operations environment.
