CLOC is introducing a new phase for CLOC UK with the appointment of a new, team-based Regional Leadership Team.
This is the first time we have introduced this type of expanded leadership structure within one of our Regional Groups. It reflects our commitment to building strong, sustainable, member-led communities while exploring new ways to support the volunteers who lead them.
Please join us in welcoming the new CLOC UK Leadership Team, a group of legal operations professionals bringing a range of expertise, perspectives, and experience. We encourage UK members to connect with the new leaders, participate in upcoming programs, share their ideas, and find new ways to get involved with CLOC UK.
The team’s leadership term runs from 1 September 2026 through 31 December 2028.
CLOC’s vision for regional groups extends beyond events. We want our regions to be where legal operations professionals can build meaningful relationships, learn from one another, share best practices, develop as leaders, and have a voice in their professional community.
There is real potential for deeper connection and engagement across the legal operations community in the UK. This structure creates more ways for members to contribute their expertise and get involved in areas that align with their interests.
A team-based approach also creates greater sustainability by creating opportunities for more members to develop their leadership experience and building a stronger pipeline of future volunteer leaders.
At the heart of this model is a strong partnership between CLOC staff and our volunteer leaders. Volunteers bring their local relationships, ideas, perspectives, and community leadership. CLOC provides the infrastructure, resources, guidance, and support to help those efforts thrive.
The UK is the first CLOC region to put this expanded approach into practice. We’re excited to learn from the experience of the UK leaders and community as the structure takes shape.
Those learnings, alongside our ongoing conversations with CLOC Regional Leaders around the world, will help shape our Regional Group strategy going forward. We know every CLOC region is unique. The goal is to understand what structures and support can help locally led CLOC communities thrive, while keeping what makes each one special.
