As a CLOC Board member, Alex is passionate about paying forward the mentorship and guidance that shaped her own career in legal operations. She’s dedicated to helping emerging professionals build confidence, community, and clear pathways to success through education and connection.

As Senior Director of Legal Operations at Hilton, Alex oversees all business aspects of the company’s global Legal team. She manages budgeting and financial planning, leads outside counsel relationships, drives technology initiatives, and builds engagement strategies that keep Hilton’s Legal department agile and connected to the business.

Before joining Hilton’s Legal team, Alex spent several years in Internal Audit and Financial Planning & Analysis, where she honed her skills in data-driven strategy, financial governance, and operational excellence. Her cross-functional experience—spanning finance, audit, and technology—continues to inform her approach to legal operations leadership.

Guided by a philosophy of collaboration, continuous learning, and empowerment, Alex is passionate about creating opportunities for others to grow while advancing the business value of legal operations. She believes success is best achieved when diverse voices have the space and support to lead.

Beyond her legal operations work, Alex leads Hilton’s Asian & Pacific Islander Team Member Resource Group, where she champions cultural inclusion, mentorship, and empowerment across the organization. She lives in Falls Church, Virginia, with her husband, Xie, and their two children, Natalie and Aiden—finding balance and inspiration in family, community, and connection.
