Rich has been an active member and contributor to CLOC for nearly a decade, helping shape conversations at the intersection of legal operations, data, and technology. He is passionate about advancing CLOC’s mission as a unifying force for innovation, bringing together professionals, ideas, and tools that help the legal industry evolve with purpose and efficiency.

Rich’s career began in the IT department of a Boston law firm and evolved through diverse leadership roles in legal operations and technology at JCPenney, Toyota Motor North America, and now Epiq. A founding board member of the ACEDS and Law Rocks chapters in Dallas, Rich has also served on the inaugural Education Advisory Committee for CLOC. As an architect with Legal Data Intelligence (LDA) and a frequent speaker at eDiscovery and Legal Operations conferences nationwide, he continues to shape how organizations apply AI and data analytics to modern legal practice.

Rich believes in pragmatic innovation—leading with transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. He’s committed to developing teams that balance technical fluency with human connection, and to mentoring the next generation of legal operations leaders.

Outside of work, Rich is the creator of Legal Power Skills, a content and speaking series dedicated to upskilling legal professionals in communication, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and adaptability—core traits he believes define the future of effective legal leadership.
