CLOC 2019 Sydney Institute

2-3 September 2019 | The Westin, Sydney, Australia

The CLOC Sydney Institute is an educational conference that draws on the personal and collective strengths of practicing in-house legal operations professionals. CLOC members are passionate and determined to innovate their legal operations departments, teams and functions. They collaborate with each other to share what works, what doesn't and to develop and standardize the processes and the tools needed to enable legal departments to "run like a business". All educational content is developed and curated by practicing legal operations professionals who have been on the front lines of the legal operations revolution for years.

There are quite a few conferences for Legal professionals. It can get confusing to identify which conference offers the most value and which is the most relevant for your needs.

Some conferences focus on the technology available to help the law industry more efficiently manage tasks; while others combine technology and add a focus on educating peers on ways to resolve industry issues. For the most part, on paper, they all seem to offer the same experience and takeaways.

All except one. The CLOC Institute stands miles apart from all the other conferences for the legal operations professional.

Unlike many other conferences, actionable content is the most important component of each CLOC Institute. Content is built and offered by leading subject matter experts for CLOC Institute sessions. That content is then curated to ensure that it is useful and relevant to attendees’ career phases and to the level of their organizations’ legal operations maturity. In addition, the content that is presented is intended to create industry standards for the community to build upon, from development to execution to adoption.
